HOW WE MADE THE EYES?

At Eccentric Manor, each eye is a carefully crafted masterpiece, made with precision and passion. Here’s a look into the detailed process behind creating our iconic eyeballs:

  1. Forming the Base
We start by kneading polymer clay into a perfect spherical shape to create the core structure of the eye. This serves as the base for all the intricate details that follow.

  2. Resin Coating & Curing
The surface of the eye is then evenly coated with eco-friendly resin. Using a UV lamp, we cure the resin, solidifying it and creating a smooth, durable surface.

  3. Shaping the Iris
A portion of polymer clay is added to form the iris. We press it gently into place and carefully remove any excess clay using a sculpting tool, ensuring a smooth and defined shape.

  4. Creating Unique Iris Patterns
Next, we use a carving tool to etch intricate, one-of-a-kind patterns into the iris. These details give each eye its distinct, lifelike appearance.

  5. Hand-Painting the Details
Following a hand-drawn design, we carefully paint the iris, adding rich colors and shading to bring it to life. We also add delicate blood vessels and subtle blood details to the back of the eye, enhancing its realism.

  6. Final Resin Coating & Curing
Finally, we apply another layer of eco-friendly resin to the entire eye, ensuring a flawless finish. The eye is once again cured under UV light, locking in all the details and giving it a glossy, lifelike sheen.

Each step of this process is done with care and attention to detail, resulting in a unique, high-quality piece that is as much a work of art as it is an accessory.
